Terms of service
These terms describe your use of WHO LIED?, a browser-based interactive murder mystery game, at wholiedgame.com.

The game
Each episode is a fictional mystery. You investigate scenes, speak with suspects, collect evidence and make an accusation. Characters and events are fictional. The game includes murder themes, and some dialogue and character voices are generated using AI. Generated replies may contain mistakes and are entertainment, not advice.
Access and prices
Paid purchases are not open yet. The Night Train is currently free to play. The planned price is US$3.99 per episode, as shown on our pricing page.
When purchases open, an episode will be a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The episode description and checkout will identify what you are buying and the total amount, including any applicable taxes, before you pay. Buying one episode does not include other episodes or future releases.
For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle acts as the reseller and merchant of record. Its Buyer Terms apply to the transaction. See our refund policy for payment support and your rights.
Your use of the game
You may use the game for personal entertainment. Do not interfere with its operation, bypass access restrictions, submit unlawful content or use automated requests to overload the service. Do not enter sensitive personal information into conversations with fictional characters.
The game, artwork, writing and software are protected by intellectual property rights. Access does not transfer ownership or grant permission to redistribute the game. This does not restrict rights provided by applicable law.
Saved progress and availability
Playing requires an internet connection and a supported modern browser. Saved progress uses browser storage and server records. Clearing browser data can remove the reference needed to resume a free saved case. We do not currently offer cross-device purchase recovery.
Maintenance and technical faults may interrupt play. Contact us if something does not work. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse or security risks. Changes to the service do not remove any mandatory rights you have in purchased digital content.
Privacy and consumer rights
Our privacy policy explains how game and website data are processed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer remedies where doing so would be unlawful.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms as the service changes and will show the update date here. Material changes affecting purchases will be communicated where required. For help or a complaint, email hi@wholiedgame.com.
